I’m Not Afraid

Running in Slippers teaser: Skydiving was a cap on the most painful six months of my entire life. I wasn’t afraid. Maybe it was because I had already been bungee jumping. Maybe it was because I survived almost dying. In that free fall, I surrendered to what was. Because what is meant for you will not pass you by and when it’s your time, it’s your time.

During this time, I was still writing the book and I didn’t know where to end the story. Driving home, I knew skydiving was the end of that story. The journey wasn’t over but I was a changed woman and nothing would be the same from then on.
